These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of the website of the International Journal of Agricultural Research, Innovation and Technology (IJARIT), eISSN 2224-0616, published by the IJARIT Research Foundation ("the Journal," "we," "us"). They cover browsing the site, registering an account, submitting a manuscript, acting as a reviewer or editor, and using published content. By using this website you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

These Terms should be read together with the Publication Ethics & Malpractice Statement, the Plagiarism & Retraction Policy, Open Access & Copyright Licensing, the Preservation & Archiving Policy, the Article Processing Charges page, and the Privacy Statement. Each of those pages governs its own subject in more detail.

1. Use of this website

You may browse, search, download, and share published content in accordance with the license described in Open Access & Copyright Licensing. You agree not to:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the website, including editorial, reviewer, or administrative systems, or to circumvent its security.
  • Upload or transmit material that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or harmful, including malware.
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when registering, submitting a manuscript, or corresponding with the Editorial Office.
  • Collect the names or email addresses of authors, reviewers, or users in order to send unsolicited commercial or promotional messages.
  • Use automated tools at a volume or rate that disrupts normal operation of the website.

Text and data mining of published articles is permitted under the CC BY 4.0 license. Please use the journal's machine-readable interfaces, such as its RSS/Atom feeds and OAI-PMH endpoint, where possible, and keep request rates reasonable.

2. User accounts

Registering an account (as a reader, author, or reviewer) requires accurate and current information. Each person should hold one account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify the Editorial Office at editor@ijarit.online immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or close an account that is used in breach of these Terms or of the Journal's ethics policies.

3. Manuscript submission and author responsibilities

Submitting a manuscript constitutes your agreement to the Author Guidelines and the policies linked above, including those on originality, authorship, data integrity, and generative AI. By submitting, the corresponding author confirms on behalf of all authors that:

  • The work is original, is not published elsewhere, and is not under consideration by another journal (apart from disclosed preprints).
  • All listed authors have approved the manuscript and its submission.
  • The authors hold the necessary rights or permissions for any third-party material included, such as figures, tables, or images.
  • Required ethical approvals and declarations have been obtained and are accurately stated.

If a manuscript is accepted, authors agree that it will be published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). Authors retain copyright, and IJARIT does not require a transfer of copyright. Authors also agree that the Journal may deposit article metadata and DOIs with Crossref, make content available to indexing services, and preserve it as described in the Preservation & Archiving Policy.

Manuscripts under review are treated as confidential until publication. Submission does not guarantee publication and is subject to the process described in Peer Review & Ethics.

4. Peer reviewers and editors

Reviewers and editors agree to keep manuscripts confidential, to declare and avoid conflicts of interest, and not to upload manuscripts to generative AI tools, as set out in Peer Review & Ethics and the Publication Ethics & Malpractice Statement.

5. Published content and permitted reuse

Published articles are licensed under CC BY 4.0. Anyone may share and adapt the material for any purpose, including commercially, provided appropriate credit is given, a link to the license is provided, and any changes are indicated. Third-party material reproduced within an article may be subject to its own permissions, as indicated in the article. Views expressed in published articles are those of the authors.

6. Intellectual property of the website

The Journal's name, logo, visual design, and non-article content (policy pages, announcements, and site text not otherwise licensed) are the property of the IJARIT Research Foundation. They may not be reproduced for commercial purposes without permission, except where expressly licensed otherwise. The names and logos of indexing services, platforms, and standards bodies mentioned on this website belong to their respective owners, and their mention does not imply any endorsement or relationship beyond what is stated on the Indexing & Abstracting page.

7. Article Processing Charges

There is no fee to submit a manuscript. An Article Processing Charge (APC) applies only after a manuscript has been accepted, subject to the waiver and refund terms on the APC page. Payment status plays no role in editorial decisions.

8. Research integrity and enforcement

Breaches of these Terms or of the Journal's ethics policies may lead to rejection or retraction of a manuscript, suspension of an account, and the other measures described in the Plagiarism & Retraction Policy.

9. External links

This website links to third-party sites, such as indexing databases, archiving services, social media, and cited sources. IJARIT does not control and is not responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices.

10. Availability and archiving

We aim to keep the website available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and it may be unavailable during maintenance or for reasons beyond our control. Published content is also preserved through the independent archiving arrangements described in the Preservation & Archiving Policy.

11. Disclaimers

The website and its content are provided "as is." Although IJARIT applies peer review as described in its editorial policies, the Journal does not warrant the completeness, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose of published content. Nothing in a published article constitutes professional agronomic, veterinary, environmental, legal, or financial advice. Readers who apply research findings in practice, for example when using pesticides, handling animals, or introducing crops or organisms, remain responsible for complying with applicable laws and safety requirements.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the IJARIT Research Foundation, its editors, reviewers, and staff are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of this website or reliance on its content. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

13. Copyright and content complaints

If you believe content on this website infringes your copyright or other rights, or you have a concern about an article, write to editor@ijarit.online with the page address, a description of the concern, and your contact details. The Journal will review the matter under its published policies.

14. Privacy and cookies

Personal data are handled as described in the Privacy Statement, including its section on cookies.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. We encourage users to raise any dispute with the Editorial Office first so it can be resolved informally. Any dispute not resolved in that way is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Bangladesh.

16. General

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with the policies linked above, form the entire agreement between you and the Journal regarding use of this website. If translations exist, the English version prevails.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Journal's practices or applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows the latest revision, and continued use of the website after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
