Q: How do I submit a manuscript?
Through the journal's online submission system on the OJS platform. You'll need to register/log in and follow the Author Guidelines before submitting. All authors must have a validated ORCID iD.

Q: What peer-review model does IJARIT use?
A double-blind peer-review process — author and reviewer identities are kept confidential. Authors must anonymize their manuscript (remove names, affiliations, and self-identifying references from text and file metadata).

Q: What's the peer-review workflow?
Submission → editorial/plagiarism screening → reviewer assignment (at least two independent experts) → double-blind review → editorial decision (accept/minor revision/major revision/reject) → revision and possible second review → copyediting → production → publication.

Q: Is there a plagiarism check?
Yes. Manuscripts are screened with Turnitin/iThenticate. Overall similarity must stay below 15% (excluding references and standard methodology phrasing), with no single source exceeding 3%. Q: What happens if plagiarism or an error is found after publication?
Depending on severity, IJARIT issues a formal Correction Notice for minor errors that don't affect scientific conclusions, or a Retraction for confirmed misconduct, data fabrication, or unreliable findings. Q: Is IJARIT's content preserved for the long term?

Q: What is the journal's policy on AI-generated content?
AI tools cannot be listed as authors. Where AI assistance is used for language editing or preliminary formatting, authors must disclose the specific tool, version, and purpose in the manuscript. Q: How long does review and publication take?
Time to first decision averages 21–30 days; average time to final publication is 60–90 days, depending on revision turnaround.

Q: What is the acceptance rate?
Around 45%, based on 2025 submission data.

Q: Is there a submission fee?
No. There's no fee for manuscripts rejected during initial screening or peer review.

Q: Is there an Article Processing Charge (APC), and how much?
Yes, but only after acceptance following peer review: BDT 5,000 for national (Bangladeshi) authors and USD 100 for international authors. It's a flat rate with no extra charges for color figures, supplementary material, or length. See Article Processing Charges (APC).

Q: Are APC waivers available?
Yes. Authors from World Bank/Research4Life Group A (low-income) countries receive an automatic 100% waiver; Group B (lower-middle-income) authors may apply for a 50% waiver. Corresponding authors without institutional funding can request a hardship waiver at the time of initial submission (not after acceptance).

Q: Does paying the APC affect editorial decisions?
No. Editors and reviewers have no access to authors' financial or waiver status, and it plays no role in acceptance decisions.

Q: How can I pay the APC?
International authors: bank wire transfer (SWIFT), credit/debit card, or other verified international electronic payment platforms. National (Bangladeshi) authors: direct bank deposit/EFT (BEFTN/NPSB) or mobile financial services. An official invoice is issued only after formal acceptance.

Q: How do I cite an IJARIT article?
Each article is assigned a permanent DOI via Crossref, shown on the article's page. Use the DOI link for a stable citation; reference-style examples are available in the Author Guidelines.

Q: Where is IJARIT indexed?
